International Trails Summit

April 14 – 27, 2025 | Madison, Wisconsin

American Trails (AT) and the Professional TrailBuilders Association (PTBA) will host the 2025 International Trails Summit in Madison, Wisconsin April 14-27, 2025. The combined, high-impact event convened a diverse trail and outdoor community to learn, build relationships, and find solutions to the challenges of developing and elevating outdoor recreation opportunities for all.

Utah tRAILS sUMMIT

April 24 – 25, 2025 | Kanab, Utah

The Utah Trails Forum brings together industry professionals, trail advocates, volunteers, and community leaders to advance the building and care of natural surface trails. It encourages partnerships to plan, build and maintain trails from inception to completion. The forum also serves as a learning resource for individuals throughout Utah looking to further their knowledge of trail building and maintenance.


August 2025

Outdoor Writers Association of America Annual Conference

August 19 – 21, 2025 | Chattanooga, Tennessee

Outdoor media and other professionals will attend the Outdoor Writers Association of America’s annual conference to connect, mingle and learn from more than 250 outdoor storytellers – and the brands that support their work. They will network with other professionals, hone communications skills, find a mentor/mentee and discover more and better ways to sell their work or promote their brand.


September 2025

New Mexico Outdoor Economics Conference

Septeber 17 – 19, 2025 | Road Church Rock, New Mexico

This conference will highlight successful community economic development efforts within and outside of New Mexico that are connected to protected lands and focus on the development of governmental policies and local entrepreneurship connected to these opportunities. The conference will actively involve the attendance of leaders across the state and elsewhere interested in developing and enhancing opportunities to grow our outdoor recreation economy.
